ABOUT ME

What inspires you? For me, it's seeing the beauty the world has to offer, making memories and having stories to share with people. Simultaneously the world is so big and yet so small. As cliche as it sounds, we only have one life and so I believe it's important to see our planet.

Since I was young I have always asked those older than me for life advice or their biggest regrets. I guess as a child I thought I could bypass some common mistakes by getting some insider info from the older generations. The majority of people list not travelling or not travelling enough as their major regret. I made a mental note to myself that this would not be a regret of mine. I wanted to have great tales of adventures to tell my grandkids one day. There's comfort in the familiarity of where you grew up and what you know but that's not going to open your eyes to what's out there and help you grow as a person. Making connections, seeing the world, and being responsible for myself in the unknown has undoubtedly been one of the best life decisions I have made. I want to share my journey with you and motivate you to stick a toe out of your comfort zone.

I love writing, especially about travelling as I hope it will help fellow travellers have the best experience possible during their adventure. Travelling, especially solo travelling has its challenges, often little time is one and the worst feeling is missing out on the best things to see because you were told to see something that ended up being sadder than a deflated cake. I want to ensure travellers like you make the best use of their time and see the best things for you.
